## Vendre des jetons d'une valeur de 1,9 milliard de yens

Le célèbre analyste en cryptomonnaies Arthur Hayes a vendu environ 13 millions de dollars (environ 1,9 milliard de yens) d'actifs cryptographiques au cours des derniers jours, convertissant la majeure partie en jeton stable USDC. Il estime que le Bitcoin (BTC) pourrait chuter à 100 000 dollars.

Selon Lookonchain, M. Hayes a vendu pour 8,32 millions de dollars d'Ethereum (ETH), 4,62 millions de dollars d'Etena (ENA) et 414 700 dollars de Pepe (PEPE).

M. Hayes a mentionné que la raison de ce mouvement est que le projet de loi sur les tarifs douaniers aux États-Unis devrait être présenté entre juillet et septembre, et que la pression sur l'économie augmente. De plus, il a poursuivi en disant qu'après l'annonce des NFP (non-farm payrolls), le marché semble penser que le taux de croissance de l'économie américaine n'est pas suffisant.

Le NFP de juillet a enregistré un nombre de nouveaux emplois de 73 000, ce qui est bien en deçà des prévisions, suscitant de nouvelles inquiétudes concernant l'introduction des tarifs douaniers et le ralentissement du taux de croissance du PIB nominal.

M. Hayes a également déclaré que les principales économies n'élargissent pas le crédit à un rythme suffisant pour soutenir la croissance du PIB.

En tenant compte de ces éléments, il est possible que le Bitcoin chute à 100 000 dollars et l'Ethereum à 3 000 dollars. À noter qu'au moment de la rédaction de l'article, le Bitcoin se situe autour de 115 000 dollars et l'Ethereum autour de 3 500 dollars.

M. Hayes a également suggéré qu'il parlerait plus en détail lors de sa présentation au « WebX » qui se tiendra à Tokyo le 25 août. Le « WebX » est l'une des plus grandes conférences sur les affaires Web3 en Asie, organisée et gérée par CoinPost. Elle se déroulera du 25 au 26 août à « The Prince Park Tower Tokyo ».

M. Hayes avait annoncé le mois dernier, pour ses prévisions à long terme, un objectif de prix de 250 000 dollars pour le Bitcoin et de 10 000 dollars pour l'Ethereum, de manière optimiste.

En ce qui concerne le Bitcoin, un débat est actuellement en cours pour savoir si le marché haussier de ce cycle est à son apogée ou s'il est simplement dans une phase d'ajustement.

L'analyste des ETF (fonds négociés en bourse) de Bloomberg, Eric Balchunas, a souligné que la volatilité du bitcoin a diminué depuis que BlackRock a déposé une demande pour un ETF bitcoin physique à la mi-2023 (qui sera ensuite coté à partir de janvier 2024).

Mitchell Askew de Blockware Solutions partage également cet avis, indiquant que l'époque des « marchés haussiers parabolique et des marchés baissiers dévastateurs » alternant pour le Bitcoin pourrait être terminée.

Qu'est-ce qu'un ETF Bitcoin au comptant ?

Il s'agit d'un fonds négocié en bourse (Exchange Traded Fund) qui inclut le Bitcoin comme actif d'investissement. Il achète réellement des Bitcoins et négocie ce fonds basé sur le Bitcoin sur le marché boursier. Les investisseurs peuvent ainsi investir dans sa valeur sans acheter directement des Bitcoins.

En plus des ETF, l'augmentation du nombre d'entreprises adoptant des stratégies financières liées au bitcoin, comme la société Strategy, contribue également à la baisse de la volatilité. On estime qu'à la fin juillet, les investisseurs institutionnels possédaient environ un quart des bitcoins en circulation.

D'autre part, l'augmentation du nombre d'entreprises de trésorerie Bitcoin de petite taille pourrait entraîner un risque d'accélération de la pression de vente de ces entreprises lorsque le marché est en baisse.
