FTX co-founder Gary Wang seeks judge's ruling to avoid imprisonment before sentencing
According to BlockBeats on November 7th, Gary Wang, co-founder of FTX, should not be sentenced to prison, according to his lawyer. He cooperated with the authorities and did not know the extent of the exchange's criminal activity. According to a sentencing memo submitted on Wednesday, Wang claimed he was unaware of Alameda Research's misappropriation of FTX client funds and only became aware of the situation after the fraudulent behavior "went smoothly".
