Breakthrough Ethereum Scalability Bottleneck
Nibiru Chain, as an innovative smart contract ecosystem, has launched its latest v2 version of the Nibiru EVM, which is a high-performance Ethereum Virtual Machine execution environment.
Nibiru is committed to addressing the current limitation of approximately 20 transactions per second (TPS) on Ethereum, which can lead to skyrocketing transaction fees during network congestion. These constraints hinder developers from building high-performance applications similar to Web2. The Nibiru EVM meets these challenges by providing a throughput of over 10,000 TPS, achieving this performance even under single-thread execution.
The project plans to upgrade the network by the end of 2024, introducing parallel optimistic execution to handle transactions. This will enable nodes to fully utilize additional hardware resources, further enhancing the network's transaction processing capacity.
