In real life, borrowing money is something that really needs to be handled with caution. In 2023, several relatives and friends came to me asking to borrow money. At the time, I didn't think much and directly agreed. After the first relative borrowed money, other relatives also came to borrow from me. Thinking we are family, I didn't refuse and lent them the money to help with their urgent needs, totaling more than 230,000.
I lent my fren almost 40,000. At first, they all said nice things, promising to pay it back in a few months. But now, two years have passed, and only one relative paid back 30,000🤣, none of my frens have paid back anything. Every time I ask, it's just "I don't have money, sorry."
Looking back, the easiest way to lose relationships in this world is by lending money. To put it bluntly, the money you are capable of lending is better spent on investing in yourself, at least it won't leave you feeling heartbroken.
