The popular Solana meme coin Bonk ($BONK) is seeing a surge in institutional interest. Safety Shot Inc. ($SHOT), a Nasdaq-listed beverage company, announced on Wednesday that it is launching a BONK treasury program.

As part of the deal, Nom, a core BONK contributor, will seed $25 million worth of BONK into Safety Shot’s treasury to support the coin’s integration. In return, Nom and the BONK team will receive $35 million in preferential shares of Safety Shot.

Nom will also join the company as a strategic advisor for its on-chain initiatives. Safety Shot said it plans to acquire an additional $115 million in BONK over time, with the aim of owning roughly 5% of the token’s total supply.
