During the May Day holiday, the Yangtze River basin will encounter another heavy rainfall process, with a wide rainfall coverage and overlapping with some heavy rainfall areas of the two lakes in the previous period. According to the hydrometeorological forecast, the precipitation in the Yangtze River basin in May was longer than usual, and the water from Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake continued to be longer. Considering the actual situation and the rainfall in the foreseeable period, the middle and lower reaches of the Wujiang River, the Three Gorges section, the Yuanjiang, Zishui and Xiangjiang rivers of the Dongting Lake water system, the Ganjiang River and the Fuhe River, the tributaries of the Poyang Lake water system, the land water and the small and medium-sized rivers and reservoirs in the relevant areas may have obvious water pumping processes, and some small and medium-sized rivers in the rainfall area may have floods above the alarm, and the risk of local heavy rainfall causing flash floods and geological disasters is high.
